Our main goal is to help Russian-speaking Jews experience the beauty of Judaism and unlock their full potential by connecting with their heritage. We have created a welcoming environment, developed programs for all age groups, and run food program assistance to support those in need.

From Home Meetings to Community Center

Our history is a personal journey of faith and family. In 1973, newly arrived from Uzbekistan, Rabbi Yisroel and Anna Sirota hosted Jewish studies in their own home living room, offering a warm haven for Russian-speaking immigrants. Through decades of dedication, home study circles grew into a permanent community hub. Our center is built on the values of spiritual closeness, family warmth, and preserving traditions for future generations.

You are Welcome Here!

We understand that not knowing anyone can be a barrier to visiting a new place. At JRC, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality. You do not need to speak Hebrew or know the prayers to join us — come as you are to experience Shabbat lunch, a holiday service, or a friendly cup of tea.

Support for Israel

For 77% of Russian-speaking Jews in Montreal, connection to Israel is an integral part of their identity. JRC actively stands in solidarity with the Land of Israel, organizing community prayers, volunteer campaigns, and charity donations to support local relief efforts.
